The first and only concert performance in Riga this summer, accompanied by an impressive group of instrumentalists.
“Instrumenti” – one of Latvia’s most beloved pop-rock bands. Their sound has introduced a variety of exciting, modern shades – from electropop and pop-rock to rock, indie, and bold genre-crossing “experiments” loved by fans across Latvia and beyond. The group’s leaders, Jānis Šipkēvics and Reinis Sējāns, will be joined at the “Pink Noise Riga” concert – their first and only live performance in Riga this summer – by an impressive full backing band.

LUPA
The instrumental, electronic, and analog modern fusion group 'LUPA,' founded in 2016, brings together four outstanding Latvian jazz and contemporary music artists.
The group's debut album, "Sequences and Consequences," was nominated for the "Austras Balva 2019" and the Music Record of the Year Award in the "Jazz Music" category.
Their next album inspired by Latvia's trees, shrubs, and forests, won the Music Record of the Year Award for "Best Jazz Music Album 2022." Participating in Zigmars Liepiņš concert program "Zigmars Liepiņš. About the Important," "LUPA" was also nominated for the LSM Annual Award "Kilograms Kultūras 2022." The group's latest album, "1982," recorded with Sinfonietta Rīga, was produced and released at the "Jersika" recording studio in 2025.
Pink Noise Riga
Inaugurated in 2024 by the legendary jazz musician Branford Marsalis, Pink Noise Riga will delight music lovers this summer from July 24th to 26th.
The festival, whose main idea is to help Riga stand out & shine bright in Europe’s music scene, will offer a cocktail of world-class jazz, pop-rock, fusion, and contemporary improvised music. Its performers include saxophonist and contemporary jazz giant Kamasi Washington, one of Latvia's most beloved pop music groups - Instrumenti (with their only concert in Riga this summer), modern fusion band LUPA, and the 2025 Great Music Award recipient’s Kārlis Auziņš Double Trio. The festival concerts will take place at the "Palladium concert hall", with the opening and post-concert parties at "M/Darbnīca".
